Now that we're about halfway through January I can't help but think about warmer temperatures and sunnier days. I love the spring (almost as much as I love summer) and I love the bright colors that come with spring. I'm a sucker for a good pattern and these shorts would pair perfectly with a denim jacket for those cooler spring days. Also I'm obsessing over Rebecca Minkoff's new styles including this fringe bag. Low-heeled sandals are my go-to for summer. I love a good wedge but for my everyday they aren't that practical. These Loeffler Randall sandals combine all my favorite aspects of a good sandal: low-heeled, a gold tone mixed with an animal print and a good neutral leather color. You honestly can't go wrong. There's nothing better than a classic sandal and my all time favorite sandals (I have at least 3 pairs now) are my Jack Rogers. They are so unbelievably versatile and you really can wear them with just about anything. I throw mine on with shorts and a t-shirt, jeans, a dress... the list goes on. There really is nothing better than a good chambray shirt. To me J.Crew has some of the best reasonably priced and good quality denim/chambray.  This chambray shirt paired with these Cupcakes and Cashmere x Club Monaco heels is so timeless and the citron bag would add a twist to this classic look. With the temperatures quickly warming, I find myself going for lighter fabrics and bright hues. I love this bow skirt, the bright white mixed with these mint pumps and a jean jacket would look perfect for a lunch with the girls.  With spring weddings, graduations, and Mother's Day coming up I always think it's nice to have a couple of different thank-you cards on hand and I love these bright and cheery cards from Sugar Paper! I don't usually wear a whole lot of makeup, unless I'm going to a special event, but for the most part I stick to the basics. I little bit of foundation, bronzer, mascara (always!) and lip gloss. Sometimes I'll put on illuminator but other times I'll just go without. What is your go-to makeup look?

I'm probably a little late on the bandwagon but recently I've really been loving Sincerely Jules. She takes beautiful photos and her instagrams are perfect and to top it off, her line of t-shirts/sweatshirts are so cute but I never seem to catch them when they are in-stock. Along with citrus prints I love that pineapples are popping up everywhere. These madwell shorts feature a pineapple print but subtle enough to mix and match with other prints + colored tops.

I can't get over how talented she is!! I'm a sucker for a good graphic designer/art print and she is so so good. Citrus seems to be a big trend this spring, Kate Spade has a whole line of lemon themed items and C.Wonder has the cutest citrus inspired plates and placemats. I'm not normally one to gravitate towards yellow but I love hints of it here and there. I love the citrus print of this Loeffler Randall bag and I think it would add the perfect amount of color to this little white dress! How do you feel about the citrus trend?

I can't tell you how happy I am that it is April! April is the start to one of my favorite times of year, plus it doesn't hurt that my birthday is at the end of month. With spring comes fresh flowers and our flowers are finally starting to pop up around town here and there. This Henri Bendel clutch is in a perfect daffodil shade and is great for spring and summer, perfect with white jeans a navy top or an airy dress. What's your favorite part of spring?

SPRING!!

 One of my favorite times of the year. Although our weather doesn't feel like spring, everything is becoming a little greener and brighter. I got a dose of warm weather this past week on my vacation and it made me even more excited to start wearing some fresher and lighter colors.  I love this Rebecca Minkoff bag, perfect for a day at the beach or to tote around on a sunny day.
